Yom HaShoah: A Time to Remember and Reflect
April 14, 2026
On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jewish men, women, and children murdered during the Holocaust, and honour the survivors who carried their stories forward with strength and resilience.
In a video message to the community, MPP Michelle Cooper reflects on the importance of remembrance, education, and standing firmly against antisemitism in all its forms. As we mark Yom HaShoah, we are reminded that memory is not passive, it is a responsibility we all share.
By learning from the past and speaking out in the present, we help ensure that hatred never takes hold again. May we continue to preserve the testimonies of survivors, uplift Jewish voices in our community, and reaffirm our collective commitment to “Never Again.”
