When young women see women leading, it expands what they believe is possible for themselves.
Today in the Legislature, I spoke about the importance of women in leadership and the impact representation can have on future generations. Throughout my time as MPP, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many young women across Eglinton–Lawrence who are already demonstrating confidence, ambition, and a strong desire to make a difference in their communities.
Their questions, ideas, and perspectives remind me that leadership comes in many forms. By creating opportunities, encouraging participation, and ensuring diverse voices are represented, we can help inspire the next generation to step forward with confidence.
Every young woman should know that her voice matters, her ideas have value, and she belongs in every room where decisions are made.
