This week’s update reflects the people, events, and priorities shaping our Eglinton–Lawrence community and communities across Ontario. I’m grateful to share a new chapter in my public service as Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, and I look forward to working with Minister Sylvia Jones and partners across Ontario to strengthen mental health and addictions supports.
Closer to home, I was proud to welcome neighbours and families to our second annual Eglinton–Lawrence Community BBQ, celebrate traditions with the Baycrest community, recognize the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and support local businesses like Baba Snack Bar.
I’m also sharing updates on education, first responders, workers, skills training, tariff relief, and reducing red tape as we continue building a stronger Ontario with more opportunities for families, students, workers, and businesses.
