What’s Happening in Eglinton-Lawrence

This week’s update highlights important progress across Eglinton–Lawrence and Ontario, from establishing Canada’s first specialized Hate Crime Prosecution Unit to advancing healthcare, transit, housing, skilled trades, and economic opportunities.

I’m proud to see Motion 58 become meaningful action, while continuing to advocate for safer and more inclusive communities. This update also features major milestones for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension, investments in primary care and life sciences, support for skilled trades and local businesses, and opportunities to celebrate the vibrant Filipino, Greek, Jewish, and broader communities that make Eglinton–Lawrence such a strong place to call home.
