Ontario is investing to build stronger communities and lower the cost of housing for families across Ontario. From new housing-enabling infrastructure to world-class community spaces, our plan is delivering real results for people across the province.
Through an $8.8 billion partnership with the federal government, we are getting more homes built, faster. At the same time, our historic $500 million investment through the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund is building the arenas, community centres, pools and playing fields that families rely on. These investments are creating good-paying jobs, strengthening local economies and making sure Ontario communities have the spaces and homes people need to live, work and play. Municipalities, Indigenous communities, non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations (for new builds only) are invited to apply to the next round by December 22, 2026 at 4 p.m. EST.
