L’Ontario et le Canada investissent un milliard de dollars pour construire davantage de logements
Minister McCarthy was joined by Minister Flack and the federal government to announce a joint investment of $1 billion to support housing enabling infrastructure projects in municipalities that do not levy development charges. The funding is being provided through a new Non-Development Charge Municipalities Stream (Non-DC Stream) made possible by the Canada-Ontario Partnership to Build.
These funds will help eligible municipalities build and renew critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges and water systems – enabling new housing, protecting the existing housing supply and supporting lower home costs for families across the province.
