Canada Day is a time to celebrate the people, communities, and values that make our country so special.
One of the things I love most about Eglinton–Lawrence is the incredible diversity of the people who call this community home. For this Canada Day, I invited residents to share a simple message in the language closest to their hearts. Together, these greetings reflect just some of the many cultures, traditions, and stories that make our neighbourhood and our country stronger.
From coast to coast, Canada’s strength has always come from its people. Here in Eglinton–Lawrence, neighbours from many different backgrounds come together every day with kindness, respect, and a shared commitment to building a brighter future.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and memorable Canada Day!
Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
