Filipino Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and contributions of Filipino Canadians across Ontario and here in Eglinton–Lawrence. Throughout the month, communities come together to recognize the values of family, resilience, service, and hard work that have shaped generations and strengthened neighbourhoods across the province. It is also a time to honour the many Filipino Canadians whose leadership, entrepreneurship, community involvement, and cultural contributions continue to enrich Ontario’s social, economic, and cultural fabric.
