On Italy’s Republic Day, MPP Michelle Cooper recognized the rich history, culture, and contributions of Italian Canadians across Ontario and in Eglinton–Lawrence. Reflecting on a recent visit to the Columbus Centre, she highlighted the importance of preserving cultural traditions, strengthening community connections, and celebrating the generations of Italian Canadians who continue to enrich the social, cultural, and economic fabric of the province.
MPP Michelle Cooper joined Graham McGregor to highlight Ontario’s Anti-Hate Security and Prevention Grant, which supports faith-based and cultural organizations with funding to strengthen safety and security measures. The next application intake is expected to open in Fall 2026.
