Meet Michelle Cooper

Michelle Cooper brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in corporate, entrepreneurial, and non-profit sectors, driven by her lifelong passion for community development and public service.

A proud graduate of York University with a master’s degree in political science, Michelle began her career by founding a successful internet startup, becoming a trailblazer in online commerce in Canada. Over the years, she has held senior leadership roles in a variety of organizations, where she led high-performing teams, developed strategic initiatives, and introduced innovative solutions that improved efficiency and delivered results.

Outside of her professional work, she is deeply involved in charitable and political organizations, strengthening her connection to the communities she cares about.

As your MPP for Eglinton–Lawrence, Michelle is committed to providing a strong voice for the riding of Eglinton- Lawrence.

Living in Eglinton–Lawrence with her family, Michelle values engaging with local residents to understand their needs and concerns. With her experience, dedication, and vision, she is ready to work hard to represent Eglinton–Lawrence and ensure the community thrives for years to come.
